Blocking channels with the remote

How can I block a channel with the remote?

To block a channel that not wish others to see (childrens, etc) you should follow this simple steps:

1.- Press Menu on the remote.

2.- Move with "Channel" arrows to Configuration (Option 6) and press OK.

3.- Choosela option 3 Crear clave de acceso, with same arrows, and press OK.

4.- Now, choose option 1 Acceso restringido (press OK).

The Deco will ask us about a 4 digits code. Choose your 4 digits code and press OK. The Deco will ask again to confirm. Repeat and press OK. 

Now we have the security password and should choose the channel you want to block.

Selection of the channel to block.-

1.- Press Menu on the remote..

2.- Move with "Channel" arrows to Acceso restringido (Option 2).

3.- Choose option 1 Lista de canales.

4.- Choose all channels you want to block. Move with arrows through channels (1 to 58) and press Select on the remote. The Deco will show us the channel with a padlock sign, meaning the channel is blocked now. Press OK.

 

If we look at the front of the Decoder, we will see a flashing letter P in the channels that have been protected.
